Questions, Answers, and Just Plain ol’ Info...
There are a few things you need to know:
We sell fabric in 1 yard increments.
All of our fabric is top quality, premium fabric. We do not buy seconds or anything like that.
I am a FABRIC SNOB!! Ha…Ha…!
Plus, We always inspect each fabric when we cut just to make triple sure it is perfect.
When we get close to the end of a bolt we usually always make the remainder a remnant. We do this because we don’t like to come up short on a fabric order. This way I know exactly what is left.
We are not a big shop. The entire lower level of my home is set up for the business and both my daughters work for me. My husband does the postage at night.
Occasionaly we will make a mistake, however we pride ourselves in correcting those mistakes immediately!
Q: “Is my credit card information protected in your site?”
A: Fairytale Frocks and Lollipops is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade or otherwise share your personal information with anyone for any reason.
Secure Payment Options: All Major Credit Cards, PayPal, Money Order ( when money orders are received, the order will then be processed), No personal checks or C.O.D.’s
Q: “What if I need to add-to or adjust my order?”
A: We are committed to YOU and offer outstanding customer service! If you decide that you need to make a change to your order – contact us immediately and let us know how we can help.
If the order has NOT been processed we can make any adjustment needed.
If your order HAS been processed, adjustments can not be made. However, we will be happy to assist you with placing an additional order.
Orders are generally processed within 48 business hours. Please be sure to double-check your order BEFORE sending it – to ensure your order is not delayed due to adjustments.
Q: "I received an email stating an item is on BACKORDER – what does this mean?”
A: We try to maintain our inventory and quantity on all items. It is possible that upon order – the quantity is limited due to high volume items. We will inform you via e-mail if this issue should arise.
Typically, your order is shipped MINUS the backordered item. You will not be double billed for shipping charges – it will be processed as soon as we receive it.
If an entire order can not be shipped – we will process it, in full, as soon as our inventory is updated.
You may experience a short delay in shipment when items are in “Backorder” status. We will remain in contact with you until your order is fulfilled.
NOTE: Some fabrics are “Limited Editions” and may not be available. If we can not obtain it from our supplier – we will contact you and make adjustments/credits accordingly.
Q: “Can I exchange / return items that I have purchased?”
A: Any item such as fabric, ribbon, and lace that is cut and shipped by the yard, cannot be returned unless the item is defective. This should not be an issue – upon processing – items are TRIPLE inspected. .
Note: fabric patterns and color may vary from thumbnails in the site – please choose carefully if you have questions regarding fabric pattern / colors – contact us before making your selection.
All sales final on books, patterns, fabric, notions and custom orders - please choose carefully. Defective merchandise may be returned for store credit or exchange within fourteen (14) days of shipping.

Credits are issued upon receipt of returned item. The process could take 10-15 days to complete. You will be notified via e-mail when credit has been applied.
Q: "What will I pay for shipping?"
A: We happily ship Worldwide!
Calculating shipping is a complicated matter. Each online shopping cart is different. Some use weight to calculate shipping and some use Units. The shopping cart at FF&L uses UNITS to calculate shipping. Below we have listed the definition of a Unit.
1 yard of regular priced fabric = 1 unit
1 sewing pattern = 1 unit
1 yard of sale fabric = 2 units
1 yard of flannel, corduroy or home decor fabric = 2 units
1 book = 2 units
1 sewing kit = 2 units
Q: "How much will I pay for shipping within the U.S?"
A: All U.S. orders are a flat rate shipping charge per unit :
1 – 16 units = $3.99
17 – 25 units = $10.99
26 – 50 units = $15.99
Notes:
- We ship USPS First Class or USPS Priority depending on the size of your order.
- Each order will receive a tracking #.
- Most of our U.S. deliveries arrive within 7-10 business days
Q: "How much will I pay for shipping to Canada?"
A: All Canadian orders are a flat rate per Unit:
1 – 7 Units = $10.99
8- 16 Units = $21.99
17 – 25 Units = $25.99
26 – 50 = $32.99
- All orders to Canada are shipped Priority USPS
- Each order will receive a tracking #.
- Canadian order can take 10 -15 days for delivery.
Q: "How much will I pay for International shipping?"
A: All International orders are a flat rate per Unit:
1 – 7 Units = $13.99
8 – 16 units = $43.99
17 – 25 units = $58.99
26 – 50 units = $90.99

- International Priority shipments include Insurance.

- FF&L is not responsible for any Customs Fees imposed on orders received from the United States.

Q: “I have ordered an E-Pattern. What do I do now?”
A: Dounloadable Patterns / E-patterns are the easiest thing EVER!!! You will love this!
Simply follow the steps below to obtain your E-Pattern and begin your project!
1) Complete your order – once payment is submitted You will automatily be directed to a page which will have a Download link.
2) You will see your pattern waiting for you
3) Click “download”
4) At this point it transfers to your computer
5) Save it anywhere you would like on your computer
6) Voila! You are now able to re-print the pattern over, and over – Happy sewing!
You will also recieve an email with your E-Pattern Download link. This link will be available to you for 3 days.
